Rules

GENERAL

In our commitment to a safe and inclusive play space for all, we want to thank you in advance for being courteous and respectful to all guests and staff. We also ask adherence to the following conduct and safety rules:

  • Individual signed waivers are required for everyone, whether playing or not.

  • No outside food or alcohol allowed.

  • No rough housing, pushing, climbing, horseplay or similar dangerous activity allowed.

  • Please obey all verbal and posted rules and instructions. Use common sense to protect yourself and others.

  • Unfortunately, no pets allowed — including therapy, emotional support and comfort animals. The only exception is for service animals aiding a guest with a disability.

  • No smoking or vaping allowed.

  • No backpacks or large bags allowed.

  • Land of the Living RC World is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

There is a zero tolerance for breach of safety and conduct rules. A breach of our safety rules may, in our sole discretion, result in termination of play, and/or termination of a guests’ ability to play at Land of the Living RC World in the future.

Scroll down to “Bring Your Own Rig Rules” for additional requirements for your own RCs and details of our workbench space.

Age limits —

  • All ages are welcome at Land of the Living RC World, however, most of our RCs are geared towards tweens and older due to the realistic replica features of machines and advanced remote controls.

  • If our staff feel someone is not quite ready to use a machine, or isn’t being safe, they may be asked to sit out or try another RC.

  • Guests under age 16 must be supervised by someone 21+ years at all times.

  • Land of the Living RC World is not liable for any injury resulting from lack of supervision.

RC Etiquette

  • Treat every RC like a real machine. Assume they are fragile and expensive—handle with care.

  • If an RC stops responding or malfunctions, flag a staff member immediately. Specifically for hydraulic machines, stop operations immediately if you spot hydraulic oil or other parts break down as pressure can make oil spray unexpectedly and cause serious injury.

  • No intentional ramming or crashing. Do not drive RCs into walls, boarders or other RCs.

  • Avoid maneuvers that can cause damage or attempt stunts beyond the machine’s design.

  • Keep safe speeds and maintain a safe separation distance with others. If you’ll be crossing someone’s line of travel or attempting a move, give a heads-up.

  • Respect other operators’ play space and no tampering with others’ machines. Do not touch, move, or adjust someone else’s RC; flag a staff member instead.

  • If you cause or notice damage to property or an RC, please flag a staff member immediately for assistance.

  • Help foster a friendly welcoming environment for newcomers to learn safe, respectful operations.
